AC Milan are reportedly planning to lodge a bid to sign striker Mario Balotelli from Manchester City in January.
According to Italian sports papers Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, the Rossoneri want to recruit the 22-year-old next month to bolster their attack.
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi and CEO Adriano Galliani, who have always said that they would love to see Balotelli play for their club, are impressed with how he has combined with Stephan El Shaarawy for Italy.
The Palermo-born striker has struggled to play regularly for City this season, although manager Roberto Mancini has continually insisted that they have no plan to sell him.
Balotelli joined City from Inter Milan in 2010.
