Newcastle United have agreed a fee with Ajax for Dutch international Vurnon Anita, according to reports.
Anita is expected to fly to the North East tomorrow for a medical after the two clubs agreed on a fee thought to be around £6.2 million.
The 23-year-old could make his farewell appearance for Ajax when they open up their Eredivisie campaign against AZ Alkmaar today.
Anita has been at the Dutch club since 2006, making 137 appearances in that time, as well as winning three international caps.
