Arsenal lose their 100% winning streak while Chelsea thrash Manchester City in gameweek seven of the 2021-22 Women's Super League season.

Arsenal Women's 100% start to the 2021-22 Women's Super League season ended at the hands of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur Ladies in gameweek seven.

Jonas Eidevall's side appeared to be heading for defeat after Rachel Williams's 65th-minute opener, but none other than Vivianne Miedema was on hand to rescue a point for her side in second-half injury time.

Arsenal remain at the top of the pile but have seen their lead cut to just one point after Emma Hayes's Chelsea Women put four unanswered goals past ninth-placed Manchester City Women in a mauling.

With the derby draw representing Spurs' third game on the bounce without a win, Brighton & Hove Albion Women took advantage to rise to third with a third win in succession, this time a 1-0 success over Leicester City Women.

Manchester United Women played out their third draw in succession as they were held 1-1 by Everton Ladies on Sunday, while Aston Villa Women came up trumps 1-0 in the derby with Birmingham City Women.

Finally, West Ham United Women and Reading Women shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, with that point enough to see the latter rise above Man City in the rankings.

WSL RESULTS

Tottenham 1-1 Arsenal
Everton 1-1 Man United
Birmingham 0-1 Aston Villa
Brighton 1-0 Leicester
Man City 0-4 Chelsea
West Ham 2-2 Reading
