Olivier Giroud tells his Arsenal teammates that they need to score early against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has admitted that his side need to score early against Bayern Munich tomorrow night if they are to stand any chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Gunners make the trip to the Allianz Arena having lost the opening leg in London 3-1, which in turn has left Arsene Wenger's team needing to win by three clear goals to advance.

"We need to score an early goal. In football you never know. We need to believe and stay focused. But we need to correct our bad defensive behaviour as well," the French centre-forward told Kicker.

Early reports have suggested that Giroud will be given a role in the starting lineup, after he started the first match between the two clubs on the bench.
