Aaron Ramsey confident of Champions League qualification

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey talks up his side's chances of qualifying from a tricky Champions League group featuring Borussia Dortmund and Napoli.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has insisted that the Gunners remain confident of progressing from a testing Champions League group, ahead of tomorrow night's trip to Borussia Dortmund.

The Gunners started Group F with two victories but then stumbled at home to the German giants two weeks ago, with Robert Lewandowski's late winner enough to leave Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund all level on six points.

Ramsey thinks that Arsenal should remain confident of reaching the last 16 despite that Dortmund defeat, insisting that they showed enough in the Emirates clash to give them hope of qualifying.

He told the club's official website: "I thought we played well enough to get something from the home game.

"The group is wide open again. It is going to be tough, but we are still confident we can qualify. We have been to Dortmund in the past and drew there after conceding a late goal.

"We have experienced what it is like there, and we know it can be a very intimidating place to play, bu we have the quality and the players to get a good result and put ourselves back in control of the group."

Arsene Wenger has fitness concerns over Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere ahead of the trip to Dortmund, while Mathieu Flamini is definitely out with a groin problem.
