Jack Wilshere to play against Fenerbahce

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirms that Jack Wilshere will feature in Tuesday's Champions League playoff second leg against Fenerbahce at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere will play in Tuesday's Champions League playoff second leg against Fenerbahce.

The midfielder started on the bench for the Gunners' Premier League win at Fulham on the weekend amid concerns over his fitness.

"Jack will play," Wenger told the club's official website. "We communicate with him and the medical team so we can give him a breather when needed."

Arsenal will start the match at the Emirates Stadium with a 3-0 lead from the first leg in Turkey.
