Arsene Wenger: "It's a turning point"

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels that his side's comeback win over Hull City in the FA Cup final is a "turning point" for his side.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that his side's FA Cup final win over Hull City is a "turning point" for his team.

The Gunners ended their nine-year wait for a major trophy as they came from 2-0 down to beat Steve Bruce's side 3-2 in extra time thanks to Aaron Ramsey's winner.

Wenger told ITV Sport: "We wanted to make history tonight and win the game and we made it in both ways, how not to start a cup final and how to come back.

"It's a turning point in the life of this team. They know they can win in that way it's very important today.

"It would have been terrible [if we lost], but we came back. I've praised the spirit of this team and I'm very proud of that today. Congratulations to Hull, they played very well."

Wenger also confirmed that he will stay at the club, ending speculation over his future.
