Arsenal preparing for life without Arsene Wenger?

Arsenal are reportedly preparing for life without manager Arsene Wenger after offering him a reduced two-year contract.

The Arsenal hierarchy are reportedly preparing for manager Arsene Wenger's eventual departure after offering the Frenchman a deal which will run for just two years.

Questions over Wenger's future have been ongoing throughout the campaign, but widespread reports have claimed that the 64-year-old will extend his stay at the Emirates.

According to The Mirror, Wenger has agreed in principle to sign a new deal, but instead of the original plan to offer the coach a three-year deal, the contract is said to have been reduced to just two.

Reports have claimed that during those two years, the Arsenal board will line up a number of potential replacements, who are said to be likely to include Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola, Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp and Everton's Roberto Martinez.

The Gunners have not won a trophy under Wenger for nine years, but they could end their wait as they are just two wins away from lifting the FA Cup.
