Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has hinted that Robin van Persie could remain at the Emirates after claiming that the Dutchman is "very happy" in London.
The 28-year-old, who has been prolific in front of goal for Arsenal this season, has postponed talks over a new deal with the Premier League side until the end of the season.
"I think Robin and his family are very happy in London and I don't think he is solely motivated by money as some players are," the Daily Star quotes Hill-Wood as saying.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged stating that Arsene Wenger's German transfer target Lukas Podolski has had a medical ahead of a proposed £10.9m move to the Emirates.
