David Moyes will be hoping to end his dreadful Premier League away record against Arsenal when he takes his West Ham United side to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Hammers extended their winless league run on the road to three matches following their stalemate at Burnley on Sunday, and their chances of ending this run could be challenging when factoring in Moyes's record away against the Gunners.

The Scotsman has failed to win any of his previous 17 Premier League away trips to Arsenal, losing 14 times and drawing the other three in the process.

This unfortunate statistic for the 58-year-old is the worst record of any manager who has taken charge of this many games away at a single club without ever winning in the competition's history.

In those 17 away matches, Moyes has seen his teams concede a total of 36 goals, shipping at least two or more in a single game on 11 occasions in the process.

Moyes has faced Arsenal in 36 matches across all competitions both home and away, but he has only been on the winning side four times – drawing nine and losing the remaining 23, with a staggering aggregate goal difference of -41.

The Scotsman is yet to win as West Ham boss in six previous attempts against Arsenal, and his last victory against the Gunners for any team dates back to November 2013, when his former side Man United won 1-0 at Old Trafford.

Moyes will be hoping to mark his 600th Premier League match as a manager with his first ever victory at the Emirates in midweek, while the Hammers are looking to win their first game on the red side of North London since August 2015.
