David Moyes still targeting fourth

Everton manager David Moyes refuses to rule his side out of Champions League qualification following their draw with Tottenham Hotspur today.

Everton manager David Moyes has insisted that he is still targeting a fourth-place finish in the Premier League this season.

The Toffees drew 2-2 at Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon, leaving themselves six points off a Champions League spot with seven games to play.

Moyes concedes that it will be difficult after today's result but is hoping that his side can still qualify.

"I don't know if a point does a great deal for us," Moyes said. "If we'd won, we would have been right in it.

"I don't think we're too far away but I hope that the games don't run out. Tottenham are one of the top teams who have been fighting for fourth all season and we have taken four points off them, so it is not a bad return."

Everton still have fellow Champions League hopefuls Arsenal and Chelsea to play in their remaining fixtures.
