Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has launched an attack on his former employers by claiming that he was overplayed by Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman moved to the Etihad Stadium in the summer for a fee of £25m but has so far failed to recapture last season's sparkling form.
However, the 24-year-old has said that he is still improving in his new role.
"At Arsenal, I played too much," the France international told Canal +. "I score less than at Arsenal, but I don't have the same role.
"I came here to win the title, play at the highest level and I'm improving."
Nasri has scored three goals in 23 appearances for the Citizens this season.
