Robert Pires training with Arsenal while searching for new club

Arsenal legend Robert Pires returns to the North London club to train with the Gunners as he steps up his search for a new team following his departure from FC Goa.

Arsenal legend Robert Pires has returned to the North London club to train with the Gunners while he steps up his search for a new team.

The 41-year-old left Indian Super League outfit FC Goa in January after playing eight matches and scoring once for the club.

Pires told ESPN: "I think I can still give things to a squad and a club at a good level. So, if you're looking for someone, I'll study all offers with the necessary seriousness.

"My vision, anticipation, my passing and precision are still there. I haven't put on a gram of fat. I still keep myself in shape."

Pires joined Arsenal in 2000 and won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups in his six-year spell.
