Lukas Podolski: 'My heart will always hold a place for Arsenal'

Lukas Podolski says that Arsenal will 'always hold a place in his heart' after moving a step closer to completing his move to Inter Milan.

Lukas Podolski has thanked Arsenal fans for all their support during his two-and-a-half years at the club after reportedly agreeing to join Inter Milan.

The German international has found game time hard to come by at the Emirates Stadium this season and had been strongly tipped with a move abroad this month.

Italian giants Inter are said to be close to announcing the signing of the Gunners fan favourite later today having had an offer accepted by the North London outfit, and Podolski took to Instagram this afternoon to pen a farewell message to supporters.

Podolski has made 13 appearances for Arsenal this season in all competitions, scoring three times.
