Theo Walcott delighted with Arsenal's seven goals

Theo Walcott admits that open games, such as the 7-3 win over Newcastle United, play into his hands.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has admitted that the openness of the game in the 7-3 win over Newcastle United played into his hands.

Walcott netted a hat-trick on Saturday evening and stated his belief that there is no crisis at the London club.

"It was a very open game and when it is like that, it plays into my hands," The Mirror quotes Walcott as saying.

"We were disappointed in the goals we conceded, but to score seven, it does not matter how we win. We have a game in hand and crisis? What crisis?"

The result lifted Arsenal back into fifth in the Premier League.
