Arsenal duo Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko both make the starting lineup for Saturday's North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal duo Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko have both made the starting lineup for Saturday's North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.

Partey was forced to leave the Ghana camp during the international break due to knee discomfort, while Zinchenko has been dealing with a calf problem for the past couple of weeks.

However, both men have recovered in time to make the first XI at the Emirates, where Mikel Arteta has named his strongest lineup for the Premier League lunchtime clash.

Gabriel Magalhaes joins William Saliba at the back for the latter's first North London derby, while Ben White occupies his new-found role at right-back over Takehiro Tomiyasu, who is on the bench.

Kieran Tierney has also been passed fit for the contest after sustaining a head injury with Scotland, but he is also among the substitutes as Zinchenko comes straight back into the starting lineup.

Partey and Granit Xhaka resume their midfield partnership from the 3-0 win over Brentford, and Martin Odegaard has battled back from the calf problem that kept him out of that game to captain the side from the number 10 role - demoting Fabio Vieira in the process.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli unsurprisingly take up spots out wide in support of Gabriel Jesus, and there is a return to the matchday squad for Reiss Nelson following his recovery from a thigh injury.

As for Tottenham, Dejan Kulusevski has not made the squad after coming back from the international break with a hamstring injury, while Lucas Moura and Ben Davies are also absent once again.

Despite pressure from fans, Antonio Conte has stuck with a three-man attacking line, with Richarlison joining Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in Kulusevski's absence.

With Kulusevski and Lucas Moura both absent, Bryan Gil is the only attacking option at Conte's disposal from the bench, and he is joined in the dugout by Yves Bissouma.

Conte has opted against switching to a 3-5-2 for the North London derby, as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur occupy the two midfield spots at the Emirates.

Ivan Perisic has shaken off an injury scare from the international break to start on the left-hand side, while Emerson Royal has returned to the fold as Ryan Sessegnon drops to the bench.

Further back, Tottenham have been handed a major boost with the return of Hugo Lloris, who missed France's September games with a thigh problem but is back in the starting lineup at the Emirates.

Davinson Sanchez drops out of the backline to accommodate the return of Cristian Romero, who links up with Eric Dier and Clement Lenglet in the visitors' backline.

Arsenal starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinell; Jesus

Subs: Turner, Tierney, Tomiyasu, Holding, Lokonga, Vieira, Marquinhos, Nelson, Nketiah

Tottenham starting lineup: Lloris; Royal, Romero, Dier, Lenglet, Perisic; Hojbjerg, Bentancur; Richarlison, Kane, Son
