The midfielder left Merseyside over the summer after six years with the Toffees.

Arsene Wenger has made only one change to the side that beat Newcastle United last Monday as Aaron Ramsey returns in place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Steven Pienaar comes back into the Everton side for the injured Seamus Coleman, while Tony Hibbert is also given a starting berth in place of Phil Neville.
