AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi refused to be drawn on speculation linking his club with a move for Arsenal captain Robin van Persie.
The Dutch international's current deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire in 18 months, leading to reports that he is ready to find a new club in the summer.
One of the potential suitors believed to be keeping tabs on Van Persie's situation is Milan, along with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, when asked about the possibility of Van Persie signing on at the San Siro, Berlusconi replied: "He is a good player, but there are many more good players out there."
Van Persie recently revealed that he had put talks over a new deal on hold until the summer.
