Unai Emery is reportedly unconvinced by goalkeeper Bernd Leno and wants to bring Gianluigi Donnarumma to Arsenal from AC Milan.
Leno joined the Gunners in a £19.3m deal last summer and has had a mixed first campaign at the Emirates Stadium since usurping Petr Cech to become first choice.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claims that, with Cech bowing out this summer and questions still remaining over the ability of Leno, Emery has requested that Arsenal chiefs come to an agreement with Milan for Donnarumma.
The report indicates that the 20-year-old may be sold by the Rossoneri to help them comply with Financial Fair Play regulations after missing out on the Champions League, though it will still take a mammoth bid to prise him away.
Arsenal conceded 51 goals in the Premier League last season and kept just eight clean sheets.
