Arsenal are reportedly in pole position to secure a deal for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu during the next transfer window.

Arsenal are reportedly regarded as the favourites to secure a deal for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.

Since the turn of the year, the Gunners have been heavily linked with an approach for the 19-year-old, who has already established himself as a key man at his current club.

However, given the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, it remains unclear whether the English outfit will be prepared to make an investment in the Turkey Under-21 international.

Nevertheless, reports in Spain suggest that Arsenal remain as the frontrunners to sign the prospect during the next transfer window.

The report adds that Kokcu is keen on moving elsewhere later in 2020, despite being cautious over formally demanding a transfer from the Dutch outfit.

Kokcu still has over three years remaining on his contract.
