Arsenal 'still want Morgan Schneiderlin'

Arsenal remain keen on signing Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to a report.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to rekindle his interest in Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin has been repeatedly associated with a move to the Gunners and there has been speculation that the French international has already agreed a deal with the North London outfit.

According to the Daily Star, Wenger will come back with a £20m bid for the Saints star at the end of the season.

The Arsenal boss is said to have earmarked Schneiderlin as a key target in the wake of his side's 3-1 Champions League defeat against Monaco last week.

However, the Gunners could face competition from Barcelona for the Southampton player.

Arsenal are third in the Premier League after their 2-0 win against Everton.
