Arsenal will reportedly need to move fast if they wish to secure a deal for Olympiacos defender Ousseynou Ba.
Since the turn of the year, the 24-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League, including from the Gunners, who were left impressed by the Senegalese's performances against them in the Europa League.
With the summer transfer window expected to be put back a number of weeks, it appeared that the North London outfit had time to consider a bid for the player.
However, Sport24 claims that Olympiacos have already set about trying to convince Ba to remain in Greece by offering him a new contract.
The alleged development comes despite Ba still having three years left on his existing deal, arguably a suggestion that Olympiacos are keen to increase his market value.
