A report claims that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is eager to leave Arsenal and join La Liga giants Barcelona when the transfer window opens.

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has his heart set on a move to Barcelona, according to a report.

The Gabon international has one full season left to run on his contract and has been strongly touted as a target for Barca, who are seeking a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

Aubameyang recently stressed that he is "really happy" at Arsenal, but Spanish outlet Sport claims that he is still eager to join Barcelona.

The report indicates that Aubameyang's family have recently moved to Catalonia and the 30-year-old is hopeful that a transfer can go through at some point.

However, Arsenal are reluctant to offload their star player, who is also a rumoured target for Italian giants Inter Milan.
