Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is Barcelona's 'plan B' if they miss out on a move for Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez, a report claims.

Barcelona are reportedly considering Arsenal ace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a back-up option this summer.

The La Liga giants are in the market for a new striker as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who has missed a large spell of this season through injury.

Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez remains Barca's top target, but Spanish outlet Sport suggests that the Catalan giants will turn focus to Aubameyang if that pursuit fails.

Aubameyang is soon to enter the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract and faces an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium.

A separate report indicates that the 30-year-old has his heart set on a move to Camp Nou, despite recently stressing that he is "really happy" in North London.
