Besiktas eye Joel Campbell swoop?

Arsenal forward Joel Campbell is wanted by Turkish club Besiktas, according to a report.

Besiktas are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.

The 23-year-old joined the Gunners in 2011 from Deportivo Saprissa, but he has been sent out on loan in each of his four seasons with the club.

He has been strongly linked with a move away from North London, and according to Spanish publication Noticias de Gipuzkoa, Besiktas are hopeful of signing him for a fee of £5m.

However, it is believed that Campbell would prefer a move to Spain, having previously spent time at La Liga clubs Real Betis and Villarreal.

Campbell made four appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season, before joining Villarreal on loan in January.
