Cardiff City reject offer from Arsenal for David Marshall?

Cardiff City reportedly reject an offer of £6m for David Marshall from Arsenal.

Cardiff City have reportedly rejected an opening offer from Arsenal for their goalkeeper David Marshall.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be an admirer of Marshall, who earned praise for his performances in the Premier League last season despite Cardiff's relegation.

According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners contacted Cardiff with an offer on the table worth £6m, but the Bluebirds have knocked back the proposal from the FA Cup winners.

The Gunners are searching for a new goalkeeper following Lukasz Fabianski's departure, with Wenger keen to bring in competition for Wojciech Szczesny.

Willy Caballero and John Ruddy have both been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium.
