Olivier Giroud 'would consider leaving Arsenal, but rules out Turkey and China'

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud would consider leaving the Emirates, but not for a club in Turkey or China, according to his agent.

Olivier Giroud's agent Michael Manuello has suggested that his client is open to leaving Arsenal, but has no interest in joining a club in Turkey or China.

The striker has struggled for regular game time under manager Arsene Wenger this season, which has led to rumours of a possible exit.

The 31-year-old has made 25 appearances so far this season and has scored seven goals, but the Frenchman has been handed just one start in the Premier League.

"He listens, looks and after he will see," the Daily Mail quotes Manuello as saying. "Leaving to leave has no use. It has to be coherent and it gives him something more.

"He will have playing time at Arsenal, the second part of the season is important, with competitions to play, even if he is only the Europa League.

"The clubs in Turkey? That does not interest him. China either. Leaving to earn more money is not what's important in his state of mind."

Giroud joined Arsenal in 2012 from Montpellier.
