Hull City turn their attention to Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendnter in the search for forwards with Premier League experience, according to reports.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is reportedly considering a £2m swoop for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendnter.

Bruce's attempts to bolster his forward line during the close season have proved frustrating, with Burnley forward Charlie Austin failing a medical earlier this week.

After being priced out of moves for Gary Hooper and Darren Bent, the Tigers will turn their attention to Bendnter in a cut-price deal, according to The Sun.

The Danish striker previously worked with Bruce during a season-long loan spell at Sunderland, with Hull prepared to offer the 25-year-old first-team football in a switch to the KC Stadium.

Bendnter saw a move to Eintracht Frankfurt fall through earlier this week over personal terms, but Hull are thought to more receptive over the poacher's salary demands.
