Jackson Martinez 'leaving Porto'

Colombian forward Jackson Martinez confirms that he is allowed to leave Porto this summer.

Jackson Martinez has revealed that he has been given permission to leave Porto this summer, sparking a transfer scramble for his services.

The 28-year-old is currently with Colombia ahead of the start of the Copa America later this month, but his club future is unclear.

Valencia and Arsenal have both been strongly linked with a move and the forward has confirmed that he will be allowed to depart the Portuguese club this summer.

"I'm focused on Colombia but obviously I'm waiting to know what my future holds, because I've already been given permission to leave Porto," Marca has quoted Martinez as saying.

Since joining Porto from Chiapas in 2012, Martinez has scored 92 goals in 132 games for his club team.
