Bayer Leverkusen rule out Lars Bender exit

Michael Reschke says that Bayer Leverkusen will not be selling Lars Bender to Arsenal or any other club.

Bayer Leverkusen's general manager Michael Reschke has insisted that the club has "no intention" of selling Lars Bender.

The German international has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal, who were said to have been plotting a January bid.

However, Reschke has stressed that the 24-year-old will remain at the BayArena.

"We have no intention to sell Lars," the official told German magazine Kicker.

Bender's contract with Leverkusen does not expire until the summer of 2017.
