Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has backed Nuri Sahin to improve as a player during his stint in the Premier League.
The Turkish international is expected to join Arsenal this week on a season-long loan deal from the Spanish champions.
Mourinho has knowledge of the English top flight following his spell in charge of Chelsea and he believes that Sahin will "suit" the style of play.
"I think the Premier League will suit Sahin. The competition can give a player new attributes," Mourinho told reporters.
Sahin signed for Real from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
