Arsenal reportedly face competition from fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United and West Ham United for Lorient forward Alexis Claude-Maurice.
The Gunners are rumoured to be preparing a third bid for the 21-year-old after being knocked back twice already this window.
Claude-Maurice scored 14 goals and laid on four assists for his teammates in 16 Ligue 2 appearances last season - form that has led to other teams across the continent showing an interest.
Sky Sports News reports that Newcastle and West Ham want to snap up the ex-France Under-20s international, while Brighton & Hove Albion have also been monitoring developments.
Borussia Monchengladbach, RB Leipzig, Lyon, Lille, Monaco, Marseille and Sevilla are also rumoured to be in the running for Claude-Maurice's signature, but he favours a move to Arsenal at this stage.
