Harry Redknapp: 'Loic Remy likely to leave Queens Park Rangers'

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp reveals that striker Loic Remy is likely to leave the club before the end of the transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that striker Loic Remy is targeting a move to a bigger club before the end of the transfer window.

Remy has returned to Loftus Road after a loan spell with Newcastle United, but with Arsenal and Liverpool rumoured to be interested in his signature, Redknapp doesn't think that he will remain with the Hoops past the end of August.

Redknapp told talkSPORT: "I think that he really wants to play Champions League football next year.

"We gave him time off after the World Cup but I think that he's really looking to move. I would be surprised if he was at QPR at the start of the year.

"If he goes to the right team, he's capable of scoring 15 to 20 goals in the Premier League. But I really think that he'd like to move."

The France international scored 14 goals in 26 Premier League appearances for the Magpies during the last campaign.
