Report: Arsenal agree six-month loan deal for Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata

Arsenal reportedly agree a six-month loan deal with Real Madrid for striker Alvaro Morata.

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid over the temporary signing of striker Alvaro Morata.

The Spaniard has been the subject of exit talk after making just one start in La Liga for Carlo Ancelotti's side this season.

While there have been reports that Tottenham Hotspur were keen to sign the 21-year-old on loan, it is understood that their North London rivals have beaten them to it.

The Gunners are said to have agreed a six-month loan deal, with the forward due to arrive at the Emirates when the winter window opens in January, according to The Express.

Morata has netted twice since coming off the bench nine times for Madrid this season.
