Mathieu Debuchy has reportedly completed a medical with Arsenal ahead of his proposed move to the Emirates this summer.
The London club have confirmed that they have held talks with Newcastle United over the defender.
According to Goal.com, the terms of Debuchy's contract were finalised over the weekend ahead of the medical, and he is expected to be unveiled as the club's first signing of the summer in the coming days.
The report also claims that striker Joel Campbell could be heading to Newcastle as part of the proposed £7.9m move.
