Report: Joel Campbell heading for another loan move

A report claims that Arsenal are preparing to send Joel Campbell on another loan spell next season.

Arsenal are reportedly preparing to send Joel Campbell on another loan spell next season.

The Costa Rica international, who has starred for his country at this summer's World Cup, joined Arsenal from Saprissa in 2011.

However, the 22-year-old has not made a single first-team appearance for the Gunners, spending time with Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiacos over the last couple of seasons.

It had been claimed that the winger would return to the Emirates this summer to battle for a first-team place.

However, according to the Daily Mail, he will once more be sent on loan, with Newcastle United, West Ham United, Everton and Southampton all believed to be monitoring proceedings.

Campbell's Costa Rica face Netherlands in the quarter-finals of the World Cup later this evening.
