Five of Arsenal's young players are expected to sign new deals with the club, but Theo Walcott has yet to agree a fresh contract.

Arsenal are reportedly poised to announce that five of their senior players have agreed new contracts with the clubs, although Theo Walcott is not one of them.

The forward's current deal expires in the summer, and Walcott, who has made it clear that he wants to play as the lead striker, has yet to settle on new terms.

According to The Sun, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson are all likely to sign new contracts with the Gunners.

Wilshere, who has recently returned from 14 months out of action, is thought to have agree a new five-year deal worth £80,000 a week.

Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gibbs are all reported to have agreed new deals worth between £40,000 and £50,000 a week.

Meanwhile, Jenkinson agreed a £32,000-a-week deal in November but the club will confirm that later this week.

Arsenal travel to Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
