Arsenal have had an enquiry about Alessandro Florenzi's availability dismissed by Roma, according to reports in Italy.
Florenzi has been linked with a move away from Serie A following his impressive displays last season, but Roma are believed to be eager to keep the 23-year-old at the Stadio Olimpico.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma refused to quote a price for the midfielder when approached by the Gunners recently over a possible move.
Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be interested in adding midfield options to his squad this summer, with Mikel Arteta tipped to be leaving the Emirates Stadium before the beginning of the next campaign.
