Tottenham Hotspur prepare bid for Jay Rodriguez?

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid for injured striker Jay Rodriguez, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to bid for Jay Rodriguez, despite the striker's injury problems.

The Southampton forward was put out of action after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament earlier this month, but the club are believed to be optimistic that he may return in the autumn.

Although Rodriguez will miss the beginning of next season, Spurs are reported to still be interested in securing the England international's services in the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs will look to move ahead of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in the race for Rodriguez's signature as soon as they receive an update on his current condition.

The 24-year-old underwent successful surgery earlier this week.
