Juventus have reportedly failed with a bid to swap Aaron Ramsey with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Although both players made high-profile transfers last summer, neither of them have been able to hold a regular first-team spot at their respective clubs.
According to The Telegraph, this led to Juventus proposing the idea of a swap deal, despite Ramsey's allegiances to Spurs' fierce rivals Arsenal.
However, the report claims that the North London outfit were not prepared to enter such discussions, seeing more value in keeping Ndombele in North London.
Despite his lack of game time, the Frenchman is said to remain in Jose Mourinho's long-term plans after costing up to £64m.
Juventus are open to parting ways with Ramsey due to the playmaker making just 11 starts and 12 substitute outings in Serie A and the Champions League.
