Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning a move for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
The 23-year-old continues to be strongly linked with a summer exit, and a number of clubs are thought to be interested in the Frenchman, who has scored 32 times and registered 31 assists in 170 appearances for Lyon.
Arsenal are seemingly no longer in the running, though, as the Gunners close in on a deal for Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard, while Liverpool's reported interest also appears to have cooled.
According to The Mirror, Tottenham are preparing to make an offer for the midfielder, who has been placed on the transfer list, with the Ligue 1 outfit believed to be open to bids in the region of £22m.
Aouar was an important player for his French club during the 2020-21 campaign, making 33 appearances in all competitions, contributing eight goals and four assists in the process.
The Frenchman has also played the full 90 minutes in both of Lyon's league matches this season, but it appears that his time at Les Gones is coming to an end.
