Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has heaped praise on Andreas Weimann after the young striker's late goal earned his side a 1-0 win over Fulham.
The 20-year-old substitute was on hand in the 90th minute to slot home after a fumble by goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
"He's been prolific in the reserve team, he's a hungry young man, he wants to score goals, he links up with players well," said McLeish.
"He's not just a trick in the penalty box, he's already a good player. His goal record has been exceptional in the reserve team and I felt he deserved a crack at it."
The win has lifted Villa up to 14th in the Premier League table.
