Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish will reportedly hold cruch talks with the club's hierarchy next week over his future.

Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish is reportedly facing crunch talks with the club's hierarchy.

Large sections of Villa fans have called for the Scot to be sacked after the club only just avoided relegation in his first season in charge.

McLeish is now expected to sit down and discuss his future with owner Randy Lerner and chief executive Paul Faulkner at the start of next week, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Villa conclude their disappointing campaign later today (Sunday) when they travel to Norwich City.
