Felix Magath looks forward to Diego return

Felix Magath tells supporters that Diego will return to Wolfsburg next season.

Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath has said that supporters can look forward to seeing midfielder Diego return to the club next season.

The Brazil international, who spent the current season on loan at Atletico Madrid, has suggested that he would rather remain with the Spanish outfit after starring in the Europe League final earlier this week. However, Magath has other plans.

"We have seen how valuable he can be when he brings all of his skills to the team," the German told Deutscher Presse-Agentur. "Our fans can look forward to that [next season]."

Diego arrived at the Volkswagen Arena from Serie A champions Juventus in 2010.
