Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has been linked with both Spain and Argentina.
The Argentine, who guided his club to the La Liga title last season, has emerged as a frontrunner to replace under-fire Spain boss Vicente del Bosque, the Daily Mail reports.
However, Simeone has also been tipped as a potential successor to Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella, whose job is said to be hanging in the balance following a dressing room revolt at the World Cup.
Both countries are rumoured to have made tentative enquiries about the possibility of poaching Simeone after the World Cup.
