Report: Atletico Madrid to replace Mario Mandzukic with Everton's Romelu Lukaku

Atletico Madrid are lining up a summer bid for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku as a replacement for Wolfsburg target Mario Mandzukic, according to reports.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has emerged as a transfer target for Atletico Madrid, according to reports.

The Spanish champions could be faced with losing Mario Mandzukic at the end of the season, with the Croatian international linked with a return to Wolfsburg.

According to The Sun, Atletico could swoop for the Toffees forward in the summer if Mandzukic goes on to leave the Vicente Calderon.

Mino Raiola, who became Lukaku's agent after his move to Goodison Park last summer, said that the Belgian would not have signed for Everton if he had been representing him earlier.
