Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in Atalanta BC forward Duvan Zapata.
The Colombia international has enjoyed a prolific few years with La Dea and already boasts five goals and four assists from eight appearances in all competitions this season.
Zapata supposedly garnered interest from Italian champions Juventus last summer, and the 29-year-old is said to be attracting the attention of another top European side following his performances in an Atalanta shirt.
According to Calciomercato, Atletico boss Diego Simeone has taken a liking to Zapata and is keen for the forward to make the switch to the Wanda Metropolitano, but Atalanta will drive a hard bargain.
Indeed, the report suggests that the Serie A powerhouses will not accept anything less than €50m (£45.1m) - a fee which Atletico are not willing to fork out at this moment in time.
Zapata is under contract at Atalanta until 2023, where he has amassed 52 goals in 88 games since arriving from Napoli - initially on loan - in 2018.
