Jupp Heynckes wary of Barcelona despite lead

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes admits that past failures have driven his side forward this season but is wary of the threat Barcelona pose despite their 4-0 lead.

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed that he is not going to get carried away by his side's 4-0 win over Barcelona, but admitted that past failures have driven his team onwards this year.

A brace from Thomas Muller along with goals from Mario Gomez and Arjen Robben have handed Heynckes's side a huge advantage going into the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.

"I am happy about the result, but I am not moved by it," Heynckes told reporters. "I know that we still face 90 very difficult minutes in Spain.

"We will enjoy what happened tonight, but not more. It is important to stick to your tactical guidelines against Barcelona and that is what makes my team stand out this year.

"Falling short of success in the past two years has only made them more hungry to win this year."

The second leg of this last four clash takes place next Wednesday at Camp Nou.
