Zlatan Ibrahimovic hails "fantastic" David Beckham

Zlatan Ibrahimovic backs David Beckham's experience to prove vital when Paris Saint-Germain host Barcelona tonight.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes that David Beckham's experience will be crucial against Barcelona tonight.

Carlo Ancelotti's side host Barca in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie at Parc des Princes this evening.

Ibrahimovic thinks that Beckham has been a "fantastic" addition to PSG's squad and has backed the English midfielder to produce when it matters against the Catalan giants.

He told The Sun: "This is where Beckham comes in and is important. He has this experience, he has been in this situation.

"With the greatest respect in terms of my teammates, not all of them have been there before. In one month, Beckham has made a big impact on the whole team. He has big qualities on the pitch.

"With the ball he is fantastic, he gets in good crosses, he has a good touch with the ball. He is a fighter, has a big heart and he is a winner. There are two months left and we can win everything, the Champions League, the league and the Cup."

PSG head into the tie on a run of four games unbeaten, which has taken them seven points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
