Luis Suarez has given Barcelona a 1-0 half-time lead over Getafe in the Spanish capital.

Getafe were caught out by a fast start from the visitors as Neymar sprinted clear on the wing before finding Munir, who could only send his effort wide of the post.

After recovering from the early scare, the hosts threatened to take the lead against the run of play when Stefan Scepovic controlled a clever ball from Victor Rodriguez, only to shoot wide of the target as Barcelona were almost punished for poor marking in the box.

It threatened to become a frustrating first half for Barcelona as they struggled to make the most of their long spells in possession, with Suarez somehow managing to miss the ball with his shot after being found by Neymar.

The Uruguayan would capitalise on his next opportunity in front of goal as Sergi Roberto produced a brilliant flick from Neymar's cross to give Suarez the simple task of tapping in from close range.
